We’ve made a few changes to the club champs to make it easier for people to play. Here are the main changes:
- The 2015 champs start on 12 January and run until the weekend before Easter. The three month period should give every one heaps of time to play their matches.
- We now have a ‘B’ grade for the men’s and women’s singles. (This replaces the consolation tournament for first round losers). S8 players and below can enter the B grade tournament.
Doubles and mixed doubles stay with just the one open grade.
We would love to see people who may have shied away from entering, due to the calibre of opponents, feeling more comfortable playing in a grade more appropriate to their ability. (Having said that, anyone may enter the open grade.)
