Sadly, our club coach Andy Walmsley leaves us next month.
Andy’s coaching sessions have been top-notch and he has done heaps to raise the standard of tennis at the club and to raise the profile of the club through his friendly and very effective coaching skills. Thanks, Andy, best wishes for the future.
Andy says …
“As you may already know I’m leaving Wellington Tennis Club in pursuit of an adventure overseas and a psychology research position in the UK.
“It has been an absolute pleasure to meet so many people that share such a passion for the game of tennis. And it has been an honour to represent Wellington Tennis Club in mens regional one interclub over the past year.
“Wellington Tennis Club is certainly more than just a tennis club. I look forward to coming back to New Zealand in the future and joining the club and seeing how everyone’s game has progressed.”
